Minku Apparel is a custom graphic t-shirt manufacturer producing print-forward streetwear tees from 50 pieces per design, with all decoration run in-house. We build 180 to 240 GSM combed-cotton blanks tuned for print, then apply screen print, DTG, puff, discharge, and all-over print under one roof, sample before bulk, and ship worldwide DDP door-to-door. For a brand where the artwork is the product, this is the factory that makes the graphic land.
A graphic tee is only as good as the print sitting on it, and the print is only as good as the blank underneath. Buying wholesale shirts and heat-pressing art gives you no control over ink, hand, or durability – the graphic cracks, the shirt feels generic, and every competitor has the same blank. We manufacture the tee and decorate it as one process, so the fabric, the ink system, and the finish are chosen together for the result you want.
What makes a custom graphic t-shirt distinct
A custom graphic t-shirt is built around its print – the artwork is the reason the piece exists, so every manufacturing choice serves the graphic. That means a blank with a smooth, dense face that holds fine detail, an ink system matched to the art, and placement dialled to the millimetre. A generic blank with a pressed transfer is a merch item; a purpose-built graphic tee is a product your customer buys for the design and the feel.
We tune the whole garment to the print. A combed-cotton face gives crisp registration for line work and halftones, the right GSM keeps the shirt from feeling thin behind a heavy ink lay, and in-house decoration means the same hands control the blank and the graphic. That integration is what keeps colour, placement, and hand consistent across a full run and into reorders.
Who graphic tees are for
Graphic tees are the core product for most streetwear labels, plus band and artist merch, event and tour drops, influencer lines, and any brand that sells a message or an aesthetic on a shirt. If your identity lives in the artwork – a logo, a slogan, an illustration, a photographic image – the graphic tee is your flagship, and print quality is what separates a brand people re-buy from one they wear once.
They also suit brands scaling a catalogue of designs, since a low 50-piece minimum per design lets you release many graphics in small runs, read which sell, and reorder the winners. That test-and-scale model is how a modern label builds a range without warehousing dead stock.
Print methods we run in-house
The print method shapes your colour range, your run economics, and the hand of the finished tee. We run all the major methods in-house and advise per design:
- Screen print: bold, opaque graphics in plastisol or soft water-based ink; the streetwear standard, most efficient at volume.
- DTG (direct-to-garment): photographic and multi-colour art printed straight into the cotton, no colour-count penalty, ideal for detailed or small runs.
- Discharge: ink that removes the garment dye and replaces it, for a super-soft, vintage hand with no plastic layer.
- Puff print: raised, dimensional ink for a tactile, premium graphic.
- All-over print: art printed across the full panel before or after cut for edge-to-edge coverage.

Screen print versus DTG for graphics
The two workhorse methods suit different artwork and quantities, and picking right protects both your look and your margin.
Screen print
Best for bold, limited-colour graphics and larger runs. Durable plastisol or soft water-based inks, with per-unit cost dropping as volume climbs – the classic streetwear finish.
DTG
Best for photographic, gradient, or many-colour art and smaller drops. Prints directly into combed cotton with no colour-count penalty, so complex designs stay economical at low quantity.
We run both, so your artwork drives the method rather than the method limiting your artwork. On many programs we mix them across a range – screen for the hero logo tees, DTG for the detailed illustration drops.
Blanks and fabric tuned for print
The blank is half the graphic. We build combed and ring-spun cotton tees from a 180 GSM mid-weight up to a dense 240 GSM heavyweight, with a smooth, tightly knit face that holds screen and DTG detail crisply. A heavier GSM sits flatter and gives ink a stable ground, so fine lines and halftones do not distort, and the shirt reads premium behind a big front print.
Fit is yours to spec – fitted classic, regular, boxy oversized, or cropped – because the silhouette frames the artwork. A big back graphic reads best on a boxy oversized block, while a small chest hit suits a cleaner regular fit. If you want an undecorated version of the same blank for your own print shop, see our blank tee program.
Graphic tee specification menu
Every graphic tee is built from your choices, logged on a tech pack so bulk and reorders track the sample:
| Spec | Options |
|---|---|
| Cotton weight | 180, 200, 220, 240 GSM combed / ring-spun cotton |
| Print method | Screen print, DTG, discharge, puff, all-over print |
| Ink system | Plastisol, water-based, discharge, high-density, metallic |
| Placement | Front, back, chest, sleeve, hem, wrap, all-over |
| Fit | Fitted, regular, boxy oversized, cropped |
| Branding | Woven or printed inside label, neck tape, hem tag, hangtag |
We help you set each choice against your artwork and price point, then lock it so the pre-production sample and every reorder match on colour, placement, and hand.
Colour, artwork, and print-ready files
Strong graphics start with strong files. For screen print we separate your artwork into colours and build the screens, matching spot colours to a reference so your brand palette stays true. For DTG we work from high-resolution art and profile the colour so what you approve on sample is what prints in bulk. We flag issues before production – thin lines that will not hold, colours that clash with the garment tone, or a file too low-res for the size you want.
If your art is not print-ready, we help prepare it, and we always confirm the final look on a physical sample so nothing is guessed. That pre-production check is where colour, registration, and placement get signed off in the real world, not on a screen mockup.
MOQ and pricing for graphic drops
Minimum is 50 pieces per design. Pricing tracks the print method, the number of colours or print area, the cotton weight, and the quantity, and it steps down as you scale into reorders. A one-colour screen print on a mid-weight blank sits at the accessible end; a multi-colour front-and-back or all-over print on a heavyweight tee carries more work and prices accordingly.
Because we run every method in-house, we can quote the same artwork across screen and DTG so you see the trade-off between finish and cost before committing. Request a quote for landed cost per unit, print included.
Combining methods on one graphic
The most distinctive graphic tees rarely use a single technique – they layer them. A discharge base print for a soft, dyed-in look can carry a high-density or puff highlight on top; a screen-printed logo can sit beside an embroidered mark; an all-over print can be finished with a screen-printed hit at the chest. Because every method runs in-house, we plan these combinations as one sequence rather than shipping a shirt between vendors and hoping the registration holds.
Layering methods is also how you build a tiered range from one artwork: a flat one-colour version at the accessible end, a puff or discharge version as the premium piece, and a limited all-over treatment as the collectible. Same graphic, three price points, one confirmed blank underneath.
How Minku makes your graphic tee
We sample before bulk on every graphic program. After the blank and print are specced, we produce a pre-production sample so you approve the cotton weight, the fit, and – critically – the print colour, registration, and placement before the run moves. Once you sign off, bulk runs under QC and our written quality guarantee, with print consistency checked across the run, then finishes with your labels and ships DDP.
Delivered Duty Paid means import duty and customs handling are already in your landed price, so your graphic tees arrive at your door in the USA, UK, or Europe with no broker bill at the border. Send your artwork and a reference, and we build the spec – see our full t-shirt manufacturing program or get your custom quote to start a graphic drop.
