Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions for Minku Apparel custom manufacturing: quotes, deposits, sampling, production, artwork ownership, DDP shipping, defects and returns.

These terms and conditions govern custom streetwear manufacturing services provided by Minku Apparel to apparel brands, covering quotes, deposits, sampling, production, artwork ownership, DDP shipping, and defects. By requesting a quote, approving a sample, or placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below. They exist to keep every project clear, fair, and predictable for both sides.

Minku Apparel operates a custom apparel factory in Pakistan and manufactures private-label garments for brands in the USA, UK, and Europe. These terms apply to all orders unless we agree otherwise in writing in your individual order agreement. Please read them alongside our privacy policy.

Quotes and Pricing

Quotes are based on the specifications you provide, including product, fabric, GSM, decoration, quantity, and finishing. A quote is valid for the period stated on it and may be revised if your specifications change, if material costs move significantly, or if quantities differ from those quoted. All prices are confirmed in writing before production begins, and our standard quotes are DDP, covering freight, duties, and taxes to your door. See MOQ and pricing for how quotes are built.

Orders and Minimum Quantities

Our minimum order quantity is 50 pieces per design unless stated otherwise. An order is confirmed once you approve the quote and the required deposit is received. Quantities are produced across the size breakdown you specify. Standard manufacturing tolerances mean delivered quantities may vary slightly from the order, and we aim to deliver the full ordered quantity in every run.

Deposits and Payment

Production begins against a deposit, with the balance due before the order ships, unless different terms are agreed in writing. Sampling is invoiced separately and, in most cases, credited against the bulk order once you proceed. Payment methods and schedules are confirmed in your order agreement. Orders are not scheduled into production until the agreed deposit clears.

Clear terms, no surprises Deposit, balance, and shipping terms are set out in writing in your order agreement before any garment is cut.

Sampling and Approval

We produce a pre-production sample from your tech pack before bulk. You are responsible for reviewing the sample and confirming fabric, fit, decoration, colour, and labelling. Bulk production proceeds only after your written sample approval, and it is manufactured to match that approved sample. Where you choose to skip sampling and approve production from specifications alone, we manufacture to those specifications and cannot be held responsible for outcomes a sample would have revealed. Our process is described on how it works.

Artwork and Intellectual Property

All designs, artwork, logos, and tech packs you supply remain your intellectual property. Ownership of your designs stays with you at all times. We use your materials solely to manufacture your order, and we do not reproduce, resell, or display them for any other purpose without your written permission. You warrant that you own or are licensed to use the artwork you supply, and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party. You agree to indemnify Minku Apparel against claims arising from artwork you provide.

Production and Lead Times

Lead times quoted are estimates based on current capacity, quantity, and decoration. Typical schedules run one to two weeks for sampling and three to five weeks for bulk production, followed by shipping. We work diligently to meet agreed timelines and will communicate promptly if a delay arises from material availability, decoration complexity, or factors beyond our reasonable control. Firm launch dates should be shared early so we can plan production and freight accordingly.

Shipping and Delivery

Orders ship DDP door-to-door unless otherwise agreed, meaning we handle freight, duties, and taxes to your delivery address. Transit times are estimates: typically five to eight days by air to the USA and UK, and six to nine days to Europe, after production and quality control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Any delivery issue should be reported promptly so we can assist with the carrier. Full detail is on our shipping page.

Quality, Defects, and Returns

Every order is inspected against your approved sample and tech pack, and backed by our written quality guarantee. If a genuine manufacturing defect affects your order, notify us within a reasonable period of delivery, with photos and affected quantities, and we will work with you to remedy it through repair, replacement, or credit as appropriate. Because goods are custom-manufactured to your specification, we do not accept returns for change of mind, for decisions a sample would have surfaced, or for variations within standard manufacturing tolerance.

Cancellations and Changes

Changes requested after sample approval or after production has started may affect price and lead time, and may not be possible once cutting or decoration is underway. Cancellations after a deposit is paid or after production has begun may be subject to charges reflecting work completed and materials committed. We will always tell you the impact of a change before acting on it.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profit or missed sales, arising from delays or defects, except where the law does not allow such limitation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing Terms

These terms, together with your individual order agreement, form the whole agreement between you and Minku Apparel for your order. Where an order agreement conflicts with these terms, the order agreement prevails for that order. We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version is always published on this page.

Getting Started

If these terms work for you, the next step is to get a custom quote or request a sample. Any question about the terms can go to hello@minkuapparel.com or through our contact page, and we are glad to clarify before you commit.

Confidentiality

We treat your designs, artwork, tech packs, and commercial information as confidential. We use them only to manufacture your order, and we do not disclose them to third parties except production, shipping, and payment partners strictly necessary to fulfil your order, all of whom are bound to keep them confidential. This obligation continues after your project ends. Our data-handling practice is described in full in our privacy policy.

Colour and Tolerance Variances

Custom manufacturing carries standard, industry-accepted tolerances. Minor variances in measurements, fabric weight, and colour can occur between the sample and the bulk run and between production lots, and these fall within normal manufacturing tolerance rather than being defects. We work to minimise variance through in-house colour management and quality control, and we confirm colour and fit on your approved sample so expectations are set before production.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, transport disruption, port or customs delays, utility failures, labour disputes, or government action. If such an event arises, we will inform you promptly and work in good faith to minimise its impact on your order and timeline.

Assignment and Subcontracting

You may not assign your order or these terms to another party without our written consent. Where a specialist process is involved, we may engage trusted subcontractors to help fulfil your order, and we remain responsible for the work and for keeping your designs confidential. This does not change your agreement with us or the standards we hold.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the applicable law stated in your order agreement, and any dispute will be handled in good faith first through direct discussion. We aim to resolve any concern quickly and fairly, because a lasting manufacturing relationship matters more than any single disagreement. If you have a question about these terms before ordering, email hello@minkuapparel.com or use our contact page, and to proceed, get a custom quote.

Quality Guarantee

Every bulk order is backed by our written quality guarantee: it is produced to the pre-production sample you approved and inspected against your tech pack before dispatch. This guarantee sits alongside the defects process above and reflects our confidence in in-house production and quality control. It is a commitment that what you sign off is what ships, run after run, which is the foundation of the reorder consistency brands rely on.

Entire Agreement and Severability

These terms, together with your order agreement and our privacy policy, represent the whole understanding between you and Minku Apparel for your order, and they supersede prior discussions on the same subject. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. A failure to enforce a term on one occasion is not a waiver of it on another. For any clarification, contact us before you order, and to proceed, get a custom quote.
