Private Label for Clothing Brands | Minku Apparel

Private label clothing manufacturing from 50 pieces - custom labels, tags and packaging with full OEM production, sampled before bulk and shipped DDP.

Private label clothing manufacturing means we produce garments that carry your brand only – your woven labels, your neck tags, your hangtags and your packaging, with no trace of the factory – so every piece looks and feels like your own product from the moment it lands. Minku Apparel offers full private label and OEM production from 50 pieces per design, on heavyweight 240-400+ GSM cotton, fleece and terry, with a sample approved before we run bulk.

This page explains what private label covers, how it differs from white label and CMT, the branding elements we produce, and how our Pakistan factory ships finished, fully-branded orders DDP to your door in the USA, UK and Europe. If your brand assets are ready, get your custom quote and we will build your label program.

What Private Label Clothing Manufacturing Is

Private label means the manufacturer produces garments to your specification and finishes them entirely under your brand. Unlike buying blank stock and adding a logo, private label controls the whole garment – the fabric, the fit, the construction and every point of branding – so the product is genuinely yours rather than a decorated commodity blank.

For streetwear and apparel brands, this is what separates a real label from a print-on-demand side project. When a customer opens the poly bag, reads your woven neck label and feels the weight of the fabric, the garment communicates that you are a brand worth their money. Private label is how you own that entire experience.

At Minku, private label sits on top of full OEM production. We cut and sew the garment, decorate it and finish it with your branding in one factory, so every element is controlled and consistent from your first sample to your third reorder.

What Your Private Label Package Includes

A complete private-label garment carries branding at every touchpoint. We produce custom woven labels and neck tags, or a printed neck label where you prefer a tagless feel, so your brand name sits where a customer looks first. Size tabs, care and content labels and side-seam labels are all produced to your spec and sewn in during construction.

Beyond the garment, we produce hangtags, custom care cards and packaging – individual poly bags, branded tissue, stickers and boxes where your presentation calls for it. This is the unboxing your customer experiences, and it is a major driver of perceived value, so we treat packaging as part of the product rather than an afterthought.

Because decoration is in-house, your branding can extend to embroidered logos, printed inner necks and back-neck hits. See our embroidery capability for tactile brand marks that lift a private-label piece.

Private Label vs White Label vs CMT

Brands often confuse these terms, and the difference shapes how much of the product is truly yours. The table below breaks it down.

Model What it means Control Best for
White label Generic blank, add your logo Branding only Fast, simple merch
Private label Custom garment, full branding Fabric, fit, branding Real brands and drops
OEM / full package Made to your design end to end Complete product Original silhouettes
CMT You supply fabric, we cut and sew You source materials Brands with a supply chain

Most growing brands choose private label or full OEM, because they want a distinctive product with their name on every element. For the construction side, see our cut and sew capability page.

Who Private Label Is For

Private label suits any brand that wants to own its product rather than resell a decorated blank. New streetwear labels launching a first drop, established brands scaling a line, influencer and creator merch that needs to feel premium, and retailers building an in-house range all benefit from garments finished entirely under their name.

It is especially valuable when your brand competes on quality and identity. If your customers care about fabric weight, fit and finish, a private-label program lets you specify a 400 GSM fleece, a boxy modern cut and a woven label, and deliver a product that a generic blank cannot match. That specificity is your competitive edge.

Private label also protects your brand as you grow. Because we hold your specs, labels and approved samples, your reorders stay consistent and your identity stays intact across seasons – no scrambling to match a previous run from a different supplier.

The Private Label Process, Step by Step

The process starts with your brief and tech pack. You share your design, target fabric, fit, sizing and every branding element – labels, tags, packaging. If your tech pack is incomplete, we help fill the gaps, because a clear spec is what makes a first sample land close to your vision.

Next, we produce a pre-production sample: the actual garment in your fabric and fit, with your branding applied. You review construction, measurements, decoration and labels, and we refine until the sample is approved. This approved sample becomes the exact standard every bulk piece is measured against, which is how we protect consistency.

Then we run bulk. Garments are cut, sewn, decorated, labelled and finished with your packaging, passed through QC at each stage, and packed ready to sell. We ship the finished order worldwide DDP door-to-door, so it clears customs and arrives ready for your rail or warehouse.

Quality Control and Your Brand Guarantee

Private label puts your brand name on every garment, so quality control is not a formality – it is protection for your reputation. We inspect at each stage: fabric and cut before sewing, construction and measurements during assembly, decoration and label placement after finishing, and a final check before packing. Defects are pulled before they reach your rail.

Because your labels and tags carry your identity, we hold tight tolerances on placement, stitching and finish, so a customer never sees a crooked neck label or a mismatched hangtag. The approved pre-production sample is the benchmark, and every bulk piece is checked against it rather than against a vague standard.

We stand behind this with a quality guarantee. If a run does not meet the agreed spec, we make it right, because a private-label factory only earns repeat orders when the brand it produces for can sell with confidence. That accountability is built into how we work, from your first sample through every reorder.

Our private-label MOQ is around 50 pieces per design, which lets new brands launch a fully-branded product without oversized quantities. Cost is driven by fabric weight, construction complexity, decoration and the branding package, rather than a single line item, and per-unit cost improves as quantities climb and setup spreads across more garments.

On value, we compete on the weight of the fabric, the quality of construction and the consistency of your branding across reorders, never on being the lowest number. We ship worldwide DDP door-to-door, so duties and freight are handled and your order clears customs without an import broker. Turnaround runs efficiently once your sample is approved.
